Role Description
We are seeking a full-time IAAS Accredited Immigration Caseworker (Level 2 Senior Caseworker or Level 3 Advanced Caseworker) to join our growing Immigration Department.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of immigration and asylum matters, including:
- Asylum claims
- Human rights applications
- Family migration
- Private and family life applications
- Fresh claims
- Appeals
- Judicial review preparation
- Immigration bail applications
- National Referral Mechanism (NRM) matters
- Modern slavery and trafficking cases
- Domestic violence applications
- Settlement and British citizenship applications
- Sponsor licence matters where appropriate
- Legal Aid Agency funded work

The role will involve managing files independently in accordance with IAAS, Legal Aid Agency, and SQM requirements, preparing legal representations and supporting evidence, conducting legal research, liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties, and assisting with departmental supervision, quality assurance, and compliance where appropriate.

Qualifications
- IAAS Level 2 Senior Caseworker accreditation or IAAS Level 3 Advanced Caseworker accreditation
- Strong knowledge of UK immigration, asylum, and human rights law
- Experience managing immigration and asylum matters independently
- Experience working under Legal Aid Agency and SQM requirements is desirable
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and case preparation skills
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Experience in appeals, asylum claims, fresh claims, immigration bail, NRM, modern slavery, and complex human rights matters is desirable
- Solicitor qualification is not essential, provided the required IAAS accreditation is held
