We're supporting a leading financial services organisation as they continue a major transformation of their Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IAM Security Lead to play a key role in securing a next-generation enterprise identity platform, helping to deliver secure-by-design solutions aligned with modern Zero Trust principles.

Working alongside architecture, engineering and platform teams, you'll lead the implementation of security controls across a large-scale IAM environment, ensuring identity services remain secure, resilient and compliant within a complex enterprise landscape.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the design and implementation of security controls across an enterprise IAM platform
  • Embed Secure by Design principles throughout the software delivery lifecycle
  • Implement and maintain Zero Trust security controls
  • Secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms across identity services
  • Design secure service-to-service communication using mutual TLS (mTLS)
  • Implement security controls for Human, Workload and Agent Identities
  • Develop Policy-as-Code solutions using OPA and related technologies
  • Integrate secrets management, PKI and certificate lifecycle management
  • Support cryptographic key management and certificate rotation
  • Carry out threat modelling, security design reviews and risk assessments
  • Identify, assess and remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Support vulnerability management, security patching and hardening activities
  • Implement cloud security controls across GCP and Kubernetes platforms
  • Configure security monitoring, logging, alerting and audit capabilities
  • Support privileged access management and least privilege implementation
  • Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams
  • Contribute to DevSecOps tooling and automated security testing
  • Produce security standards, implementation guides and operational documentation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
