Role Title: IAM Service Lead
Duration: contract to run until 30/11/2026
Location: Inverness, Fully Onsite 5 days per week
Rate: up to £506 p/d Umbrella inside IR35
Role purpose / summary
As part of the Identity Access Management Team, you will be supporting the delivery of IAM services to ensure the right people (or systems) have the right access to the right resources at the right time, and for the right reasons. It typically covers:
- Identity lifecycle management – creating, modifying, and removing user accounts
- Authentication – verifying who someone is (e.g., passwords, MFA, certificates)
- Authorization – controlling what users are allowed to access
- Governance & auditing – tracking access and ensuring compliance

Your skills and experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
Strong programming skills in:
- C# -.NET Framework
Experience developing:
- MIM Custom Rule Extensions
- Custom workflows and synchronization logic
Good knowledge of:
- PowerShell scripting
- SQL Server
- LDAP
- XML
Your role
- Create IAM Service Design, detail TOM, Lead transition KT and Shadowing
- IAM Service Leadership and Governance
- KPI-SLA tracking and reporting
- Continuous improvement
- Stakeholder management
- Risks and issues management

Deep expertise across IAM domains – IGA, MFA, SSO, PAM & PKI
Additional desirable skills and experience
- Hands-on experience in supporting On-Prem IAM tools like Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience in supporting Cloud IAM tools like Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.
- Hands-on experience in supporting PAM tools like BeyondTrust.
