If you’re an experienced IBDP English A teacher with classroom teaching experience, possess strong soft skills, and have a passion for education, you might be the perfect fit as a tutor for the extensive network at Revision Village.

By joining our team, you’ll deploy Revision Village materials and tools as you work with students from all corners of the globe to help them achieve best-in-class academic outcomes.

These roles are part-time and hourly and can be done remotely working with students based around the world. The remuneration is set at 45 USD per hour.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Working closely with a variety of students based across the world - including the US, Asia, Australia, and Europe (within a time zone appropriate for you)
  • Conducting tutoring sessions with students on a frequent ongoing basis
  • Using IBDP English A curriculum knowledge to deliver high-quality academic tutoring to Revision Village students in a particular subject
  • Preparing students for upcoming examinations and strengthening base concepts in order to improve performance
  • Integrate Revision Village platform resources into tutoring sessions to enhance student learning and ensure alignment with our program standards
  • Maintaining communication with students outside of formal sessions, in line with our 48-hour response policy

What We Are Looking For

  • You are a qualified teacher with 2+ years of classroom experience teaching the IBDP English A curriculum (essential).
  • You have examining and/or workshop-leading experience in your subject
  • You have at least 5-10 hours of availability to tutor each week
  • You’re passionate about education and enjoy teaching - ideally, you’ve even got some experience tutoring students already!
  • You’re detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
  • You have a reliable internet connection and a professional, distraction-free online tutoring setup
