Job Title: IBM Mainframe Specialist/ Sysplex Location : Basildon, UK Job Type: Contract- 5 Days Onsite Job Summary: We are seeking an 5 plus years experienced IBM Sysplex / Mainframe Specialist with strong expertise in z/OS environments and proven experience in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Parallel Sysplex environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience of mission-critical financial applications. Required Skills: Strong experience in IBM Mainframe technologies Hands-on expertise in: Parallel Sysplex Coupling Facility management z/OS system programming Experience with: CICS Transaction Server DB2 for z/OS IMS Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., IBM System Automation) Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (OMEGAMON, RMF, SMF) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Salary: 330 - 350 GBP Per day
