A day in the life of an ICT Administrator
As an ICT Administrator, you will be part of a dedicated and diverse team. An exciting opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skills in a unique and interesting environment. You will build relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business, customer, and supplier organisations. You'll have the opportunity to experience both our headquarters and operating sites.
If you’re interested in joining our exceptional ICT team, here’s what this role entails:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the ATOMS Training Management System.
- Deliver technical support for Ascents Unified Communications.
- Offer support to the IT team for Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
- Act as the point of contact (POC) for all local Ascent IT systems.
- Serve as the Azure administrator for Ascents cloud services, including managing user permissions.
- Assist as the technical liaison for the MFTS Business Intelligence (BI) system, providing advice and support to:
- The BI Developer
- Babcock
- Lockheed Martin
- End-users
- Provide technical support for the internal Graphics network.
- Assist sub-contractors in the implementation of ICT, Audio Visual, and MIS systems across MFTS.
- Support the development and evolution of Ascents’ finance and HR systems.
- Offer administrative and user support for the Ascent ICT system.
- Manage and establish the Concept of Operations for systems.

Required Technical Knowledge
You will have experience with:
- Training Management Systems (e.g., ATOMS)
- Microsoft Azure (preferably as an administrator)
- Network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MPLS)
- Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- Modern Desktop Administration
- Microsoft 365 technologies
- Unified communications (Microsoft Teams)
- Network Patch Management
