ICT Design Consultant
My client is looking for a Snr ICT Design Consultant with Hyperscale experience to join its team.
You must be UK based and ideally within travelling distance to London, hybrid way of working 1-2 days to be in office with remainder WFH. Must have Hyperscale Design works ideally Google, MSFT, AWS, or Oracle
As an ICT Design Consultant, you will play a vital role in shaping cutting-edge technology solutions for our clients. Your expertise will help drive success and efficiency in their ICT infrastructure and operations.
Working with client design consultants, CAD and Revit resources to deliver Telecom designs for hyperscale and COLO DC clients.

Essential skills:
Min 4yrs experience of delivering Data Center Telecoms design as part of multi-disciplinary design team.
Hyperscale DC design experience Experience in Data Center technology, engineering, structured cabling project delivery Experience in the specification, design & delivery of ICT infrastructure and Structured Cabling Systems Ability to create designs to meet customer-driven requirements and to accommodate unique installation challenges Ability to converse and design with CAD and Revit technicians Fluent English Able to clearly communicate design intent as part of client facing role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be confident and feel comfortable conversing on the telephone, via email, face-to-face, delivering presentations and be able to write concise reports. It is imperative that you can demonstrate good attention to detail and enjoy problem solving technical and non-technical issues. You must be a team player but, it is important that you can work on your own initiative prioritising work and adhering to deadlines. You will be reliable, self-motivated and flexible. Prepared to work hard and commit to learning goals, demonstrating both resilience and perseverance Solid and demonstrated experience in developing solutions aligned to business requirements that utilise the organisation's standards, product sets, templates, systems and artifacts

Desirable, but not essential, skills:
Management experience Conversant with the English language. Proficiency in other languages is desirable. Bluebeam (or equivalent) to mark-up drawings to direct CAD and Revit technicians. Experience of working to RIBA stage 2 - 4 BICSI Accredited CNET accreditations AutoCAD Microsoft Office suite Revit Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), CNIDP or equivalent is desirable.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Lead the production of, review, and approval of Telecoms designs and documentation at a consistent and high level of quality and accuracy. This will include the production of schematics, containment design, rack elevations, specifications and project specific material lists.
This individual will be responsible for managing all deliverables throughout the specification and design process.
Ensure that the technical processes and procedures for the delivery of discipline outputs are followed.
Work closely with Design Lead and Implementation team to support them with all appropriate tasks.
