ICT Estimator (Data Centres)
📍 Home working with occasional office visits (Can be based in Ireland, UK, Netherlands, Germany or Finland)

I'm working with a specialist contractor delivering ICT infrastructure on some of Europe's most high-profile data centre projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced ICT Estimator to join their commercial team.
This is a home-based role with occasional travel, offering the opportunity to work on hyperscale data centres and other mission-critical ICT projects across Europe.
The Role
As an ICT Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing accurate, competitive estimates and tender submissions for structured cabling and ICT infrastructure projects. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, you'll play a key role in securing new business and supporting successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for ICT and structured cabling projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop commercially competitive solutions.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
- Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Produce detailed handover information for the delivery teams.
- Support the development of new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Manage multiple tenders while meeting tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an ICT Estimator (ideally within data centres or mission-critical environments).
- Strong understanding of structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a home-based environment.

Desirable
- Experience working on hyperscale or enterprise data centre projects.
- RCDD, CDCDP, or similar industry qualifications.
- HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar.
