PC Renewed Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Laptop Technician to join our expanding team. If you have experience diagnosing, repairing and preparing laptops for resale, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality refurbished laptops for our business and education customers. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and pride in your work are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and repairing laptop hardware faults
  • Upgrading and configuring laptops to customer specifications
  • Installing and configuring Windows 11
  • Installing drivers, updates, and software
  • Testing laptops to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Cleaning and preparing devices for dispatch
  • Recording repairs and maintaining accurate job records
  • Assisting with stock management when required

What We're Looking For

  • Experience repairing laptops and PCs
  • Good knowledge of Windows installation and configuration
  • Confident replacing components such as screens, keyboards, batteries, and SSDs
  • Ability to diagnose hardware faults
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Lenovo, Dell, and HP business laptops
  • BIOS configuration and firmware updates
  • Microsoft deployment tools
  • Knowledge of IT asset disposition (ITAD) or refurbished IT equipment
