ICT Power App System Developer (x2) Opportunities
We have an exciting opportunity for two ICT Power App System Developers to join our growing ICT team in these brand-new roles.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of digital services across the organisation. Working as part of a forward-thinking team, you’ll support the design, development and delivery of innovative ICT systems and platforms that drive our digital transformation strategy.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, including the Power Platform, developing solutions that improve services, streamline processes and deliver real value to colleagues and customers alike.
Working closely with Product Owners, Business Improvement teams and ICT colleagues, you’ll:
- Contribute to agile development projects
- Support innovation initiatives
- Ensure our systems remain secure, reliable and fit for the future

- Design, develop, configure and enhance ICT systems and applications in line with organisational standards and digital strategy
- Build and maintain solutions using Microsoft technologies and the Power Platform
- Produce high-quality, secure and maintainable solutions that follow development standards and best practice
- Support project delivery using agile and sprint-based methodologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives
- Support testing, deployment and implementation activities to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide 2nd line application support, troubleshooting issues and supporting system users
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes and contribute to long-term solutions and improvements
- Work collaboratively with suppliers, internal teams and technical colleagues to maintain system performance and availability
- Support evaluation, testing and prototyping of new technologies and innovative solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, processes and services
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the organisation’s wider digital transformation programme
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the ICT team
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:
✔ Experience developing, configuring and delivering ICT systems and applications ✔ Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform technologies ✔ Experience delivering projects using agile and sprint-based development approaches ✔ A strong understanding of system development principles, data structures and architecture ✔ Experience documenting technical solutions, projects and system implementations ✔ The ability to solve problems creatively and develop innovative solutions ✔ Experience collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver projects at pace ✔ The ability to follow technical standards, governance processes and design guidance ✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences ✔ Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively ✔ A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use their own initiative ✔ A practical understanding of current Microsoft technologies and digital solutions ✔ A commitment to continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies

Successful applicants will receive:
🔹 Starting salary of £37,977 per annum 🔹 Flexible working – predominantly remote, with the option to attend office at Blackburn, Wakefield, or Halifax (typically one day per month) 🔹 27 days holiday (increasing to 32 days over 5 years), plus bank holidays 🔹 A flexible and family-friendly working environment 🔹 37-hour workweek (Monday to Friday) 🔹 Smart Working – flexible arrangements to ensure an excellent and accessible service for customers 🔹 Full range of award-winning benefits available
