About the Role
Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now seeking a well-rounded and senior ICT Program Director to drive the delivery of Ericsson CORE Networks solutions. You will be responsible for leading large, complex Netherlands programs on behalf of Ericsson’s global customers, delivering cutting-edge 5G, 4G Core, and Cloud solutions within a multi-vendor environment that demands agility, collaboration, and innovation.
Reporting to the Head of Ericsson ICT Program Management, this role spans sales through delivery, bridging gaps between strategic objectives and hands-on execution. Your expertise and leadership will ensure high-quality, efficient, and profitable program delivery while fostering trust between Ericsson and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Ownership & Delivery Leadership
- Drive end-to-end program evolution—from initial scoping through rapid deployment—across 5G, 4G Core, and Cloud environments for global customers (with a focus on the UK/ICT sector).
- Own the sourcing, solution architecture, project controls, and governance for complex Ericsson engagements.
- Act as the trusted “partner advocate”, ensuring consistent visibility on deltas—financial, technical, and time-related safety nets—to encourage safe investment.
- Bridge critical gaps: Linking business strategy with execution excellence and ensuring sales-danger-free transitions into Program Delivery.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams (global and local) to achieve on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
2. Revenue & Strategic Growth
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing contracts to enhance program profitability.
- Develop commercial proposals, business cases, and solution-selection strategies with sales partners.
- Drive revenue realization from saved costs (cost-cutting efforts, ecosystem reuse, and optimization).
- Use AI, automation, and genAI to advance efficiency, reuse, and program performance.
- Contribute to Innovation & Sustainability—aligning technology and societal impact in program design.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
