We bring together mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you're optimizing energy efficiency, integrating resilient systems, or engineering the backbone of next-generation facilities, your contributions will help define the future of the built environment. Primary Responsibilities The Telecommunications/Security Designer will be expected to complete a variety of project tasks including but not limited to the following Strong general engineering knowledge of either the telecommunication (Horizontal/Backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (communications, electronic controls, CCTV, access control, UPS, etc.) and operational coordination with commercial hardware. Meet with project clients to evaluate, define and review customer needs/objectives and insure those requirements are meet within the project design. Define and develop complete project related construction documents to include all design documents (SD, DD, CD) to show design intent, project specifications and assist with system related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities. Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs and other project related requirements. Develop alternative system design concepts, feasibility and trade-off studies and value-added engineering when required for projects. Maintain knowledge of current industry product offerings and research new emerging technologies. Provide Construction Administration Services such as reviewing submittals and responding to contractor questions. Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when field support is needed.

Required Qualifications Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience. 2-10 years of related work experience. Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, on schedule and under budget. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work in a high-velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality. Strong computer skills and a proficiency or able to work in Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, must be able to learn new applications quickly. Knowledge of engineering drawing and design standards and practices. Strong desire for continuous learning and professional education. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Preference given to local candidates
