Staff Nurse – ICU Leeds Hospital

Nursing | Bank | Part-Time | Includes weekend work

Up to £30 per hour depending on skills and experience

About the Role

As a Staff Nurse in our Leeds Hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

As a ICU Staff Nurse, you will:

  • Be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team in a consultant-led service
  • Work with some of the best clinical talent, practices and facilities around
  • Use your skills and dedication to spot a problem and act quickly
  • Bring an empathetic approach to make our patients’ journeys memorable for the right reasons
  • Fully understand and meet each individual patient’s clinical and personal needs
  • Collaborate with other practitioners because you understand that community in patient care is key

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

About Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital

Our highly successful, purpose-built hospital, deals with complex surgery and a vast range of specialities involving some 300 consultants. There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). These facilities, and high standards of care, make us one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the area.

Our staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive, headed by a caring and effective management team. We’re close to the city centre and central railway station.
