Senior DevOps Engineer Location: Hybrid - London (3 days office / 2 days remote) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience £70-100k Contract: Permanent | Full Time

Their technology supports high-profile installations, live productions and major events worldwide, creating unique opportunities for engineers who want to see the real-world impact of their work.

As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their collaborative development team.

Why This Role is Great:

This is a highly influential position where you'll work closely with software engineers, QA specialists and technical stakeholders to improve development workflows, automate infrastructure and drive DevOps best practice across the organisation. You'll have the opportunity to:

Take ownership of build and CI/CD infrastructure, helping development teams work faster and more efficiently. Improve automation, resilience and scalability through Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices. Design, maintain and optimise build systems, pipelines and deployment tooling. Develop monitoring, reporting and performance metrics that provide valuable engineering insights. Create internal tools and automation solutions that streamline business processes and reduce administrative overhead. Collaborate with external development teams and support integrations across development platforms and workflows. Contribute to long-term DevOps strategy and help shape future technology decisions as the business continues to grow. Develop custom tooling and workflow enhancements using Python, Java and related technologies. Work across diverse software environments including desktop, embedded and mobile development projects.

About You:

You'll be joining a highly technical and motivated engineering team, so you'll enjoy tackling challenging problems and continuously developing your ex pertise. We're particularly interested in people who have experience with some of the following: Commercial experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering or Software Engineering environment. Strong Python development skills and experience building automation tools. Experience working with Java and configuration management tools such as Ansible. Knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or equivalent technologies. Experience supporting build systems and development infrastructure within Windows environments. Understanding of source control workflows and development lifecycle best practices. The ability to explain technical decisions, identify improvements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience collaborating within engineering teams and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
