Identity & Access Management Systems Administrator
Oxford (Hybrid - 3 days per week)
£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
We're working with an innovative, fast-growing technology business that's investing heavily in its IT capability and looking for an Identity & Access Management Systems Administrator to take ownership of their IAM platforms.
This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to move beyond day-to-day administration and play a key role in shaping the future of identity management across a global organisation.
If you enjoy improving platforms, influencing best practice and building scalable IAM solutions rather than simply keeping the lights on, this could be an excellent opportunity.
What you'll be doing
You'll become the technical owner for the organisation's IAM estate, working across:
- Okta
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Active Directory

You'll be responsible for:
- Administering and enhancing enterprise IAM platforms
- Supporting the migration to Okta as the strategic identity platform
- Implementing SSO, SCIM provisioning and application integrations
- Working with SAML, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
- Managing identity lifecycle processes
- Working closely with Infrastructure, InfoSec and Architecture teams
- Acting as the key technical contact for external managed service providers
- Improving security, governance and user experience across the identity landscape
As the role develops, you'll have the opportunity to influence future IAM strategy, governance and platform roadmap.
What we're looking for
We're far more interested in finding someone with the right mindset than someone who's only ever worked with one technology.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Identity & Access Management
- Okta (or similar IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Auth0 or Keycloak)
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Entra ID
- SAML, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
- SSO and identity integrations
- Enterprise SaaS environments
