📍 Fully Remote (UK)
📅 6-Month Contract
💷 £400–£500 per day | Outside IR35
Marble Grange Group is working with a leading organisation on a major Microsoft transformation programme, and we’re looking for an experienced Identity & Microsoft 365 Architect to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior Microsoft specialist to take ownership of complex identity, security, and collaboration initiatives while helping shape a modern Microsoft cloud environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering solutions across:
- Microsoft Entra ID & Identity Management – hybrid identity, SSO, SAML/OIDC, Conditional Access, MFA, Windows Hello for Business, FIDO2, and Passkeys
- Microsoft 365 Architecture – Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, Teams, SharePoint Online, and wider M365 services
- Identity Transformation – supporting tenant migration, removing legacy on-premise identity dependencies, and modernising authentication
- Automation & Integration – PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and certificate-based authentication
- Security & Governance – least privilege access, identity security, compliance controls, and best practice implementation

Essential Experience
- Strong Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD expertise
- Extensive hybrid Active Directory & Microsoft 365 experience
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols
- Advanced PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation skills
- Strong SharePoint Online administration and governance experience
- Exchange Online & Hybrid Exchange expertise
- Proven troubleshooting skills across enterprise Microsoft environments

Desirable Experience
- Entra ID Governance (PIM, Entitlement Management, Lifecycle Workflows)
- Microsoft Purview, DLP & Sensitivity Labels
- Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Power Automate
- SharePoint Premium/Syntex
- Security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus
