Role Description
The Identity Management Consultant will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions for enterprise clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assessing current identity management processes
- Configuring and integrating tools such as Oracle Identity Manager
- Ensuring secure user provisioning, authentication, and authorization

The consultant will collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and information security teams to align identity management practices with overall security policies, provide technical guidance, and produce clear documentation. This is a contract role based in Walldorf with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications
- Strong cybersecurity and information security skills, with the ability to design and implement secure identity and access management controls.
- Experience with network security concepts and practices, supporting secure integration of identity solutions into complex network environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle Identity Manager or similar enterprise identity management platforms, including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Consulting skills, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, solution design, and presenting recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with IAM standards and protocols (e.g., SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), role-based access control, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to analyze security risks, propose mitigation strategies, and produce clear technical documentation and guidelines.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM certifications are an advantage.
- Proven ability to work in hybrid teams, manage priorities in a contract environment, and adapt to client processes and tools.
