IFA Administrator
Location: Basingstoke, Hybrid
Salary: Up to £34,000 (DOE)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing financial planning firm seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join their supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous financial planning or wealth management administration experience who enjoys working in a client-focused environment and wants to be part of a collaborative business.
You will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers by ensuring client records are maintained accurately, preparing information for client meetings, and liaising with product providers to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and plan information on Intelligent Office (IO).
- Obtain policy and plan information from providers via provider platforms, email and post, ensuring all information is received ahead of client meetings.
- Regularly chase providers for outstanding information and upload documentation to Intelligent Office.
- Update client plans with contributions, withdrawals and transaction history.
- Process and link transfers between plans where required.
- Add and maintain missing policy information on the back-office system.
- Validate investment funds and unit balances, ensuring valuations are accurate and price feeds are functioning correctly.
- Support Financial Advisers with day-to-day administrative tasks and meeting preparation.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy while ensuring regulatory and company procedures are followed.
- Liaise professionally with providers, advisers and colleagues to deliver excellent client service.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management environment.
- Experience supporting Financial Advisers with pensions and investment administration.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and methodical approach to your work.
- Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Office. Experience with Intelligent Office (IO) would be advantageous.
