Creative Illustrator for Children’s Book (Fully Remote)
This role is ideal for a creative illustrator passionate about storytelling and visual engagement for young readers. The project involves illustrating a children's book, requiring an artist who can interpret narrative themes and characters in a way that is both captivating and age-appropriate. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility to work on a meaningful project that will inspire and delight children.
Responsibilities
- Create original, engaging illustrations that align with the book’s narrative and tone
- Develop character designs and visual concepts based on provided story outlines
- Collaborate closely with the author to ensure illustrations complement the text
- Deliver high-quality, print-ready artwork in required formats and resolutions
- Revise artwork based on feedback to achieve the desired visual style
- Manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of all illustrations

Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in children’s book illustration or a similar project
- Strong portfolio showcasing age-appropriate, narrative-driven artwork
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate
- Ability to interpret and visually represent written stories for young audiences
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
- Strong attention to detail and receptiveness to feedback
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of meeting deadlines independently
