Lead Logistics Engineer
Ampthill, Bedfordshire, UK
£55000-£73800 + BUPA, bonus, great benefits
37.5 hours per week with 4 day working week option
Our Supportability Team within Complex Systems require an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Engineer to support all programmes.
Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill is a rapidly changing, dynamic part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation with both domestic and international customers.
It consists of business areas focusing on Platform Integration, Ground Based Air Defence, Special Projects and Weapons, which provide a variety of products and services to the Ministry of Defence and other customers.

The role:
Working within the Engineering and Technology Department providing support to multiple engineering programmes.
You will conduct Logistic Support Analysis and Maintenance Testing activities to progressively prove compliance to relevant system requirements.

You will be involved with multiple phases of the programme from early LSA Analysis through design influence, support solution development and logistic testing.

Required skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) standards including Def Stan 00-600 and other equivalent standards such as JSP886 and ARMP’s and its tailoring according to programme phase
- Development of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Requirements and ILS Programme and Demonstration Plans to suit the needs of each Project
- Management and performance of ILS analysis tasks such as Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Maintenance Task Analysis & Level Of Repair Analysis (LoRA)
- As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process system supportability
LMPeople Qualifications and Experience :
- 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
