Role Overview
In your role as ILS Residential, you will be responsible for supporting students in the residential provision where you will enable students to achieve their independence targets. You will be responsible for monitoring and assessing students’ progress through effective target setting and ensuring that students are able to access the curriculum effectively. You will also be responsible for delivering all aspects of personal care to individual students, and take responsibility for the raising of student’s individual care plans and risk assessments.

Requirements
To apply, you should possess:
- NVQ Level 2 in Care
- Level 2 qualification in safe handling of medication (or achieved within 6 months)
- Level 2 qualification in numeracy and literacy
- Experience of working in a flexible and responsive team
- Experience of working in a care environment
- Team worker with good communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads
- Positive, proactive, flexible approach to work
- Strong commitment to student success
If you do not hold Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English, you will be required to undergo an assessment to determine you are operating at the required level.
