About the department

Our Imaging & Diagnostics service sits at the heart of the patient journey and plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely, accurate, and compassionate care. Often one of the first clinical touchpoints, the department supports consultants and clinical teams by delivering high-quality diagnostic services in a calm, reassuring environment.

Working closely with clinicians, patient administration teams, and external pathology providers, the service ensures investigations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with the highest clinical and governance standards. Accuracy, professionalism, and patient comfort underpin everything we do.

About the role

As an Imaging & Diagnostics Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department’s administrative functions, acting as a key link between patients, clinicians, and diagnostic teams. You will provide a high standard of administrative support, ensuring that appointments, imaging requests, and clinical documentation are managed accurately and efficiently.

You will be the first point of contact for patients attending imaging and diagnostic appointments, offering a warm, professional, and reassuring welcome. Your ability to communicate clearly, handle queries confidently, and provide excellent service will help create a positive patient experience from start to finish.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will manage imaging bookings, process referrals, upload and update patient records, and ensure results and reports are handled promptly and securely. The role also requires strong adherence to governance and data protection standards, as well as proactive support for day-to-day departmental operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
