Job Overview
We are looking for a part time (20hrs) per week Imaging Procurement Support Officer to work afternoons Monday–Friday, 13:00-17:00.
The Imaging Project Support Officer provides day to day support to the Imaging Procurement team and associated tasks.
You will be required to order, record and receipt purchases accurately within Imaging department. You must possess excellent IT skills, including excel and
Experience in purchase desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The Imaging Procurement Support Officer provides day to day support to the Imaging Procurement team
The post holder will be expected to record all HCTED (High Cost Tariff Excluded Devises) on a daily basis, ensuring that the all data is recorded and maintained accurately and that equipment is stored correctly.
All high cost items are tracked into the department and the relevant staff informed of its arrival this will require good communication and a high level of accuracy

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and competent appointment service for patients and staff for the Radiology Department.
- Act as a point of contact for queries relating to administration of stock items.
- Provide and receive routine and complex Interventional stock information High Cost Tariff Excluded Devices (HCTED) on a daily basis.
- Accurately process all HCTED information onto Excel spreadsheet
- Able to order stock and raise invoices using Oracle, SAP and Genesis systems
- Receipting stock items into the department via SAP and Genesis or paper request
- Ensure that high cost items are traced into the department and stored correctly
- Identify and raise any HCTED queries to relevant manager.
- Follow the strict processes relating to stock management.
- Must have good understanding of the procedures and practices relating to HCTED.
- Must be able to communicate with outside agencies, Imaging staff and other senior staff throughout the Trust
- Form and maintain good working relationships with all linked professionals and colleagues in the department.
- Liaise daily with the Interventional Nursing team to identify any discrepancies with stock demands.
- Raise discrepancies with the procurement team
- When required train new and existing staff.
- Perform other reasonable duties, appropriate to a Band 3, as agreed between the post holder and the manager from time to time.
- Ability to participate in policy changes within the Imaging Department
- Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Participate in audits as and when required.
- Have a flexible approach to enable the continuous smooth running of the office.
- Form and maintain good working relationships with all linked professionals and colleagues in the department.
- To ensure any compliments and complaints, from any source, are reported immediately to their Line Manager.
