Role Overview

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with this charity on a fantastic Impact and Evaluation Manager role. This position involves leading impact measurement projects, developing KPIs, creating dashboards, and supporting organisational evaluation efforts on a flexible, part-time basis. This is a part-time, 3 day a week 12 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of new KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Build and manage Power BI dashboards to support board and internal operational needs.
  • Oversee Power BI in the absence of the current impact and evaluation lead.
  • Support impact-related projects, including broader evaluation initiatives.
  • Collaborate across teams to understand information and evaluation needs.
  • Assist in developing a balanced scorecard for trustees, helping to communicate organisational performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in of evaluation and reporting processes.
  • Support practical data handling using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Communicate insights clearly, demonstrating organisational impact stories effectively.
  • Contribute to rolling recruitment efforts to find suitable candidates for future continuity.

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable experience in impact measurement and evaluation within a charitable or not-for-profit environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualisation techniques.
  • Confident in managing projects independently and overseeing impact activities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask across different projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders and conveying complex data clearly.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team across different levels of the organisation.
  • Proactive and self-starting attitude with a focus on delivering results within a flexible working pattern.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £58,000 pro rata, 3 days a week. This is a 12 month contract, hybrid with 1 day a week in their London office.
