Impact & Evaluation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Impact & Evaluation Manager to help shape how a growing national charity measures its impact, learns from evidence and strengthens opportunities for children across the UK.

Salary: £41,200 FTE (£24,720 actual)

Location: Hybrid with remote working and at least one day a week in London (SE11)

Hours: Part time, 21 hours per week (3 days)

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: Tuesday 11 August 2026

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead impact measurement and evaluation for a well-established national charity as it enters a new phase of growth.

You'll develop and refine evaluation frameworks and Theory of Change models, helping the organisation understand where it is making the greatest difference and how evidence can drive future decision making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the organisation's impact and evaluation strategy
  • Designing and delivering research and evaluation projects
  • Developing meaningful frameworks to measure long-term outcomes
  • Producing reports and insights for senior leaders, trustees and funders
  • Supporting funding applications through robust evidence and impact data
  • Building an organisational culture where learning and evidence inform decision making
  • Working with internal systems and external partners to improve data collection and reporting
  • Ensuring research and data management complies with GDPR and safeguarding requirements

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
