Implementation & Change Lead
We’re looking for an ambitious and action-oriented Implementation & Change Lead to help accelerate Montu’s mission to transform healthcare through cannabis therapies. In this role, you’ll be an agent for change; managing and driving the delivery of projects that sit at the heart of scaling our healthtech ecosystem spanning clinical, pharmacy, digital, logistics, regulatory, and commercial initiatives.
This isn't a traditional project management role. We don't run a rigid methodology, and we're not looking for someone to impose one. We want someone who brings just enough structure to keep the important things on track, and who's as comfortable rolling up their sleeves as drawing up a plan. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced scale-up. You’ll coordinate across teams, solve problems in real-time, and keep projects moving forward. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we deliver, building structure and momentum that helps Montu scale at pace.
What You'll Do
-
Find the work, not just manage it
- Move through the organisation spotting what's broken, stuck, or about to become a problem and take ownership of fixing it, rather than waiting for it to land as a neatly-defined project.
- Diagnose root causes, not just symptoms, and bring clarity to ambiguous or chaotic situations.
- Make calls on what's worth doing, what can wait, and what to quietly kill.
-
Deliver, end to end
- Take initiatives from messy idea to landed outcome; on time, on budget, to scope - working across Clinical, Pharmacy, Tech, Logistics, Legal, and Commercial teams.
- Bring just enough structure to keep delivery on track: A clear plan, named owners, critical-path, deadlines, and visible progress, without drowning teams in process.
- Introduce project management methodology, like Agile, where it helps maintain pace. Where it would slow things down, leave it out.
- Track progress, manage risks, and unblock issues quickly to keep things moving.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
-
Connect across the business
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, keeping them aligned and informed without burying everyone in meetings.
- Bring people along on the journey: Make the case for change in plain language, win over sceptics rather than steamroll them, and communicate clearly through the messy middle so new ways of working stick.
-
Make us better as we grow
- Leave the processes you touch faster and simpler than you found them.
- Build the delivery muscle of the wider team — and, over time, potentially a small team of your own.
- Champion delivery best practices (like Agile and Lean Six Sigma), helping the team work smarter as we grow.
- Optimise processes by applying Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles to make our operations faster, smarter, and ready to scale.
- Get your hands dirty and bring a pragmatic, hands-on approach to getting things done in a fast-paced, sometimes scrappy scale-up environment.
What You’ll Bring
- We're looking for an Implementation & Change Lead who runs towards those problems: someone who can walk into a messy, half-formed situation, work out what actually needs to happen, and make it happen, often before anyone's asked.
- A genuine bias for action and a high degree of autonomy; you find the work, set your own direction, and don't wait to be told what to fix.
- A doer as much as a planner: You don't just oversee projects, you get your hands dirty to deliver them.
- A track record of bringing order to chaos in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- A strong, enthusiastic, and strategic change communicator who tailors the message to any audience, makes a compelling case for why, and brings people on board rather than just informing them.
- Strong grasp of Agile and hybrid delivery models, and the ability to adapt them pragmatically. Certifications (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma) are nice-to-have but mindset matters more.
- Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders (clinicians, engineers, commercial teams, compliance).
- Comfort with everyday delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Notion, Confluence, spreadsheets).
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Implementation & Change Lead in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (healthtech, medtech, SaaS, or other regulated industries a plus).
