Implementation Engineer
Implementation Engineer – Remote (UK)

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Implementation Engineer to join our team for a remote opportunity based in the UK, with support provided for our French-speaking customers and partners.
Job Summary
The Implementation Engineer ensures the successful post-sales planning and execution of software implementations for customers. This role combines technical expertise, project management skills, and customer-centric problem-solving to deliver high-quality solutions and drive customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in French (written and spoken) – Essential
- Strong command of English – Mandatory
- Preferred: Advanced German skills
The Engineer will also play a key role in refining Imprivata’s deployment methodologies, implementation best practices, and technical training for partners, ensuring long-term success of deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical environment assessments and provide detailed solution recommendations for project execution.
- Lead the customer implementation lifecycle, from initial project kickoff to end-user deployment, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project methodologies, documentation, and best practice training for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a solutions specialist, understanding Imprivata’s product suite (EAM, MFA, PAS, MAM) and their integration with Citrix, VDI, AutoIT, and other tech stacks.
- Support the PMO by maintaining an up-to-date repository of Imprivata solutions and offerings to streamline project execution.
- Assist with technical training initiatives, including Technical Collateral, Field Workshops, and best practice guidelines to promote standardization across implementations.
- Deliver advanced onboarding sessions to customers and channel partners on Imprivata’s technologies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to upskill and develop team members through mentorship and technical guidance.
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in enterprise software or custom technology implementations, particularly in areas with end-user impact (client-server applications).
- 3-5 years of hands-on Windows administration, including independent troubleshooting and system optimization.
Technical Skills
- Native fluency in French; fluent English (German an advantage).
- Working knowledge of Imprivata solutions (EAM, MFA, PAS, MAM) is a strong asset.
- Experience with enterprise healthcare technologies, including:
- Electronic Medical Records (Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH)
- Virtualization platforms (Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
- Mobile Device Management (MDM), IAM (SSO, provisioning, governance)
- Enterprise networking and security models
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) -Working knowledge of SQL scripting, stored procedures, and ADO.NET integration.
- CRM platform familiarity, ideally Salesforce.
- Basic proficiency in scripting (VBScript, JavaScript, PowerShell, AutoIt).

Soft Skills & Certifications
- Customer-centric mindset with exceptional communication, consulting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to execute complex projects with precision, backed by:
- Solid project management skills
- Strong analytical thinking
- Time management under pressure
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Years in healthcare IT would be ideal, but experience in banking or manufacturing is also highly valued.
- Experience implementing enterprise applications in regulated environments.
