About Us
Humaans is building the next generation of infrastructure for the workplace; software designed for companies that are scaling fast, operating globally, and pushing into new boundaries.
What started as a system of record has evolved into a broader platform for operating people globally. With Athena, our agentic AI layer, Humaans moves beyond data management into intelligent orchestration, connecting workflows across HR, IT, Finance, and Operations so organisations can act faster and with greater confidence, redefining how work gets done.
We work with ambitious teams across Europe and the US, from AI-native companies like Lovable, Poolside, Fyxer AI, and Tandem Health, to established, high-growth organisations scaling internationally and through acquisition, including Quantexa, Sellpy, Manychat, Gigs, Croud, and Threecolts. These teams don’t buy software for features, they buy leverage. The ability to run faster, cleaner, and with more control as complexity compounds.
To date, we’ve raised $20m in venture funding from some of the most respected founders, operators, and funds in technology: Lachy Groom (Physical Intelligence), Stewart Butterfield (Slack), Tobias Lütke (Shopify), Dylan Field (Figma), Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Claire Johnson (Stripe), Oliver Jay (OpenAI), Jay Simmons (Bond) as well as Y Combinator, Moonfire, Frontline Ventures, Pathlight Ventures, and Exor.
If you have massive ambition and want to work on a hard problem, with a small team that moves fast, at a moment when the category is genuinely up for grabs - this is it.
The Opportunity
We believe a great implementation sets the tone for everything that follows, product adoption, customer confidence, and the quality of a long-term relationship. With Athena now live, implementation is about helping customers stand up an AI-powered people platform from day one.
We're looking for an Implementation Manager who cares deeply about accuracy, efficiency, and the customer experience, and who uses AI as a standard part of how they work to move faster, catch errors earlier, and scale what they learn across every subsequent project. You'll work across both our core HRIS and Athena platforms, ensuring customers launch with everything they need to operate faster from the start.
The Role
You'll own the end-to-end implementation journey for new customers, from signed contract to successful launch. You'll work with large, complex data sets, configure solutions to meet specific organisational needs, and collaborate across Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering to deliver implementations that customers remember for the right reasons.
- Manage implementation projects end-to-end, scoping requirements, setting timelines, and driving to on-time delivery across both the HRIS and Athena platform
- Own data migration for complex, global organisations, using AI-assisted tooling to accelerate cleanup, surface anomalies, and validate at scale
- Configure Humaans to match each customer's workflows, policies, and organisational structure, ensuring the solution genuinely fits.
- Be a trusted advisor to customers, support them on best practices and operational transformation goals
- Drive Athena onboarding alongside HRIS setup, configuring AI agents against each customer's org structure, helping them define the right use cases, and ensuring they go live with agents that actually run
- Identify and implement ways to use AI to streamline and automate the implementation process itself, reducing time-to-value for every subsequent customer
- Manage multiple stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance, and Operations, aligning goals and keeping projects on track
- Ensure seamless handover to Customer Success, setting the relationship up for long-term success
- Support customers in understanding integrations, APIs, and webhooks so they get the most from the platform's technical depth
- Feed implementation insights back to Product and Engineering, patterns, friction points, and feature requests that improve the product for everyone
- Contribute to building and refining implementation playbooks, processes, and best practices as the function scales

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
- Proven implementation experience — you've owned data implementation or onboarding projects in a SaaS environment, ideally involving complex data sets and enterprise customers
- Detail-obsessed — you care about accuracy and quality in data migration, configuration, and project delivery; nothing ships unless it's right
- AI-experienced — has used AI to materially change how implementation work gets done, whether that's accelerating data migration, generating first-draft playbooks, or building validation checks that used to be manual. Can speak to what changed and what it delivered
- Strong project management — a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope, juggling multiple workstreams and stakeholders without dropping the ball
- Technically confident — comfortable with integrations, APIs, and webhooks, and able to guide customers through technical setup with clarity
- Tool-fluent — proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, and project management tools like Asana, with the ability to pick up new tools quickly
- Comfortable with pace and ambiguity — startup experience is a plus; you thrive when processes are still being built and improved
- Excellent communication — you can manage expectations, explain complex steps simply, and build trust with senior stakeholders across multiple functions

Why Join Humaans Today?
- HR tech is having its AI moment and we’re positioned to own it. Humaans started as a next-gen HRIS taking on large incumbents in a massive market. We’ve since evolved into something even bigger: an AI platform that sits across workforce data and automates the operational layer of HR entirely; the natural progression of what we’ve been building toward.
- The product is highly differentiated. It’s built around a structured workforce data model that makes AI reliable in an HR context, something no one else has gotten right. Customers notice the difference immediately.
- We’re backed by Y Combinator, Lachy Groom, Moonfire, Frontline Ventures, and operators who’ve built some of the most consequential software companies of the last decade: the founders of Slack, Figma, and Shopify, and Asana’s former CRO and Head of OpenAI International.
- We’re a small team with an unapologetically high bar. It shows up in the product, in how we communicate, and in the standards we hold each other to.
Our Commitment to Diversity
At Humaans we’re looking for genuinely good people that are transparent and emphatic. We’re committed to providing equal opportunities, a diverse and inclusive work environment, and ensuring a fair interview process for everyone.
