IMS Systems Auditor

Job Role
We are looking for an IMS Assistant to support our Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and Performance function. The role will help ensure the smooth coordination of audits, reporting and data management across the business. Working closely with the Performance Manager and wider operational teams, you will contribute to maintaining compliance with ISO standards and ensuring accurate, timely reporting that supports decision-making and continuous improvement.

Duties

  • Support the creation, allocation and monitoring of IMS non-conformances, ensuring timely progression and accurate documentation.
  • Carry out internal audits and assist with external audits, preparing reports and maintaining audit records.
  • Compile and maintain monthly KPI, sustainability and exposure-hour data, verifying accuracy before submission.
  • Manage updates to IMS folders and support business units with data requests and reporting requirements.
  • Produce and distribute monthly Tool Box Talks, near-miss reports and other HSE communications.
  • Gather customer feedback, record findings and raise non-conformances where applicable.
  • Provide data and insight for monthly management meetings, ensuring reports are completed on schedule.
  • Support colleagues by responding promptly to enquiries and maintaining organised, accurate records.

Person Specification

  • Good general education; degree-level study is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of IMS standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and previous auditing experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Confident communicator with a supportive, collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working independently, using initiative and meeting deadlines.
  • Competent with IT systems and digital tools, with a willingness to learn.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time - 40 - Monday to Friday
