A global professional services organisation with a strong international footprint (20+ offices) is looking to appoint a senior lawyer into its Office of the General Counsel. The legal function is well-established globally (c.30+ lawyers across multiple locations), with a clear structure and strong senior leadership. The business is going through a period of growth and transformation, making this a particularly dynamic time to join. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and have high visibility across the organisation, contributing to the ongoing development of the legal function.
This is a key role reporting directly to a London-based Deputy General Counsel, with a broad remit across corporate governance, restructuring, and regulatory advisory.

The role involves: Playing a central part in supporting a complex and evolving business Advising on corporate governance across a multi-entity international structure Ongoing restructuring and organisational change initiatives Advising on regulatory matters impacting multiple jurisdictions, and embedding processes, frameworks and governance across the group
This is a hands-on position, requiring close partnership with the business. You will be expected to take ownership of projects, drive initiatives forward, and operate beyond a purely advisory capacity.
Ideal candidate: Qualified lawyer with solid in-house or private practice experience (5+ PQE), with a strong background in corporate governance and/or regulatory work Comfortable managing complexity across multiple entities and jurisdictions, pragmatic and detail-oriented, and able to operate at pace Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, leading on key initiatives, and motivated to build, improve and embed processes within a fast-moving environment
