Jameson Legal is working on a unique opportunity for a Private Client Solicitors with 7+ years' experience advising UHNW individuals across Wills, Trusts, and Probate matters. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced hire to join a Wealth Management company and help to build out a new legal offering for their clients. A strategic, team-building role.
Role: Senior Private Client Lawyer - Founding Hire (UK-qualified)
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in central London office) - flexible days
About the role
We’re building a new UK-facing legal offering for a high growth wealth-management group and hiring the first private client lawyer to design and lead it. This is a hands-on role: you will advise on estate and wealth planning, set up processes and compliance, and help shape a legal team and proposition that supports high-net-worth and internationally connected clients.

The Requirements
- UK-qualified solicitor with c.7–10+ years’ private client / estate planning experience
- Grounded, pragmatic, and commercially-minded — enjoys practising law and building an offering
- Exposure to international matters is a plus but not essential; cross-border exposure welcomed
- Comfortable with regulatory responsibilities (COLP/HOLP may be required)
- Entrepreneurial: the role includes creating the practice and a clear path to lead the division and partnership track.
