In-House Employment & Global Mobility Tax Manager

A highly successful and rapidly growing global investment firm is looking to appoint an In-House Employment & Global Mobility Tax Manager in a newly created position. Hybrid working is on offer with 3 days in the London office expected.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth and take ownership of employment tax and global mobility matters across an international office network. Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll have the chance to shape processes, influence decision-making and establish yourself as the go-to expert on employment tax matters across the organisation.

The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and a broad remit covering employment taxes, payroll tax compliance, global mobility and tax governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the trusted advisor to the business on employment tax, payroll tax and global mobility matters.
  • Take ownership of employment tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring risks are effectively managed and requirements are met.
  • Develop, implement and enhance tax governance frameworks, policies and controls to support the firm’s continued international growth.
  • Monitor changes in global employment tax legislation and assess the impact on the business and its workforce.
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance and Payroll teams to identify and mitigate tax risks associated with international employees and cross-border working arrangements.
  • Provide practical, commercial and technically robust advice to senior stakeholders and non-tax specialists.
  • Support the firm’s international mobility activities, advising on tax, social security and payroll implications.
  • Drive continuous improvement across employment tax and mobility processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
