In-House Legal Counsel 2-3 PQE
In House Commercial Lawyer- 2 to 3 PQE - Major UK Business - East Midlands (Hybrid)
This is a major UK business, and one of the leaders in its field, with several thousand employees, and operating in a highly environmentally conscious sector. The business is looking to recruit a 2-3 PQE Commercial Lawyer, to take a lead role on the businesses key commercial contracts with it's main customers.
Reporting into the Lead Commercial Counsel, the remit of the role includes:
- Leading on a range of commercial contracts including customer facing and supplier facing agreements
- Assisting on corporate finance transactions
- Providing legal advice to all levels of the UK business and managing key internal stakeholders i.e. the bids/tenders team.
- Managing external legal counsel
- Advising on general legal & compliance matters.

You will be interacting closely with senior stakeholders & decision makers within the business, where the business already has significant operations in this area. Therefore, it is key that you are a lawyer that brings significant commercial acumen to the negotiation table, in what is a very customer facing / sales driven environment.

This is a superb opportunity for a bright, ambitious, 2-3 PQE commercial lawyer, to get involved in a business, taking on a highly interesting and a challenging role with the support of more senior commercial lawyers, who are highly personable and supportive.
The business is headquartered in East Midlands and it is a pre-requisite that you will be able to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week in the East Midlands HQ, with the opportunity to work from home 3 days per week.
