Litigation Solicitor (In-House)

South Wales | Hybrid Working (2 Days Office / 3 Days Home)

£52,793 - £62,032 + Outstanding Benefits

Yolk Legal Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading South Wales organisation with the recruitment of a Litigation Solicitor to join its well-established in-house legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation solicitor looking to move in-house, or someone already in-house seeking a broader and more commercially focused role.

Working as part of a collaborative legal team, you'll play a key role in advising the business on debt recovery litigation, civil disputes and wider contentious matters, whilst partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice.

What you will be doing

As Litigation Solicitor, you will:

  • Manage customer debt recovery litigation and enforcement matters from instruction through to conclusion.
  • Advise on a variety of civil litigation matters across the organisation.
  • Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Instruct and manage external solicitors and Counsel where appropriate.
  • Draft and review legal documentation, guidance notes and precedents.
  • Support the development of debt recovery and collections strategies.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise the business on regulatory developments.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the legal team.
  • Assist with complaints requiring legal interpretation and support wider legal projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
