We are seeking an In-House Recruiter with experience in the construction and/or civil engineering industries. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing and selecting candidates for blue collar site based roles. They report to the Recruitment Lead and work in conjunction with the Labour Management team to understand the resourcing requirements and deliver appropriately skilled labour to our projects in a timely manner, ensuring an efficient service is provided to both the business and to candidates.

The recruiter will be responsible for:
- Liaising with Labour Managers to understand where there are gaps that require labour recruiting externally.
- Managing a range of vacancies, creating vacancies in the ATS system, ensuring job descriptions are available and representative of the roles, advertising roles via the JGL careers page, job boards and through social media.
- Utilising LinkedIn and other tools to actively source candidates for niche roles.
- Pre-registering and screening of applicants, sifting CVs, telephone screening where appropriate and providing a shortlist of candidates to the recruiting managers.
- Managing candidates, including arranging interviews and feeding back.
- Conveying offers, ensuring the correct approvals are in place for the salaries or rates offered
- Ensuring the HR Administrator is provided with the information to raise contracts for new hires and that candidates and line managers provide the right paperwork for them to be processed onto payroll efficiently.
- Building and maintaining a database of appropriately skilled candidates

To be successful in this position you must have recruitment experience in the Construction or Civil Engineering Industry, either gained in-house or with an agency.
