Job Opportunity: Tax Manager
JSS Tax are hiring for an in-house role for a Tax Manager for a leading international manufacturing group based in Rickmansworth (supporting 3 days per week remote working).
This is a permanent role paying circa £70k-£85k +15% bonus and a great benefits package.
Role Overview
Working closely with the Head of Tax, the Tax Manager will take on a varied direct tax role. The position is focused towards UK corporate tax issues, but will include international tax planning and project work, R&D tax work, and ad-hoc support on VAT / employment tax.
The role enjoys a mix of tax compliance, tax advisory, business partnering, and project work.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of UK corporation tax computations for group entities.
- Ownership of the group tax consolidation, UK tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS, including current and deferred tax calculations.
- Preparation and coordination of group tax forecasting and effective tax rate analysis.
- Respond to international and external tax queries and information requests.
- Oversight of UK tax risk registers and controls.
- Coordination of R&D tax relief claims with external advisers.
- Research and preparedness on complex technical matters & legislative changes.
- Identification and implementation of process improvements.
- Support on UK and overseas tax planning initiatives.

Qualifications
The role would suit a qualified individual (ACA / ACCA / CTA / ICAS etc) with strong UK corporate tax experience.
