Corporate Tax Compliance Manager

Bristol
1-2 days a week in the office

£65,000 - £80,000
Part-time / 4 days a week considered

Tax & Treasury Recruitment have been engaged by a major, fast-growing international group to find a Corporate Tax Compliance Manager to join their established tax function.

You will be joining a highly collaborative, structured tax team built over the last six years to support the immense global scaling of the wider business. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious corporate tax professional seeking a dynamic in-house environment that balances a highly technical workload with genuine work-life flexibility.

Your Role

Supporting the Head of Corporate Tax, this position has been created to manage the group's extensive multi-entity compliance landscape. Working alongside an existing Compliance Manager, you will split the portfolio and oversee a vast network of international entities.

While core return preparation is outsourced, your hands-on responsibilities and development opportunities will include:

  • Managing complex group-level obligations including CFC, CIR, and CbCr filings.
  • Partnering with external advisors to optimize international tax positions.
  • Identifying and driving major project work, including RDEC claims and tax technical research.
  • Collaborating closely with the Group Reporting Lead, offering direct exposure and support on wider tax accounting initiatives.

About You

You will be a technically strong corporate tax professional with experience gained either in-house or within a Top 10/Big 4 accountancy practice.

  • A proven track record handling complex cross-border tax issues and managing tax risk.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capability to comfortably manage compliance obligations for a high volume of entities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • A desire to identify process improvements, showing a "can-do" attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • An ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification is highly valued, but strong, practical technical experience is paramount.
