About The Role
The In Room Dining Coordinator is responsible for demonstrating full knowledge of the menu and beverage list in order to make recommendations and respond to guest requests.
You will be responsible to provide recommendations and suggestions to guests upon request over the phone and ensure that the standards are met and exceeded whilst assisting the guest.
About You
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Ability and resilience to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Pride and attention to detail in your work
- Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
- A minimum of 2 years 5* luxury hospitality service experience in a hotel is desirable.
- Food & Beverage experience required.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Opera & Adeco knowledge
- Micros Fidelio knowledge
- Fourth Hospitality knowledge
- Well-rounded understanding of the hotel’s regulations
- Ability to communicate professional and accurately via telephone and email
