ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Room Service Manager, the In-Room Dining Supervisor at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for daily operations of the Room Service team, ensuring guests receive a flawless service.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and passionate!

As an In-Room Dining Supervisor, key aspects of your role will include:

  • Create a positive working environment, while providing support and guidance to the room service team
  • Ensure high levels of service are being achieved
  • Answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silverware before serving it to guests
  • Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments on service
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries

W Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital. Behind a façade featuring a winding steel ribbon – reflecting the city’s festival spirit – this 12-storey structure will be the centerpiece of Nuveen Real Estate’s Edinburgh St James Quarter, incorporating retail, leisure and entertainment facilities along with residential apartments.
