About this role
Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) provides coordinated support, governance and communications during significant incidents affecting Wells Fargo colleagues, operations, clients and critical business services. As the regional lead for EMEA, APAC and Canada, you will lead incident response, executive communications, governance and operational resilience activities across multiple jurisdictions. You will also provide cover for the India and Philippines regional incident management teams, helping ensure a consistent, effective and resilient global response capability.
This highly visible role partners with senior leaders, business groups and enterprise functions to drive effective response, recovery and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will:

Incident Leadership and Response
- Lead regional incident management activities, including assessment, escalation, coordination, response and recovery.
- Provide backup support for India and Philippines regional incident management leads during planned and unplanned absences, major incidents and surge events.
- Maintain situational awareness and deliver timely decision support to senior leaders.
- Facilitate regional and executive response forums during significant incidents.
- Partner with Enterprise Incident Management to ensure timely escalation and coordinated resolution.

Governance and Operational Resilience
- Establish and enhance regional incident governance, operating models and response frameworks.
- Drive consistency in incident management processes, communications and escalation practices.
- Support operational resilience, regulatory compliance and regional preparedness initiatives.

Executive Communications and Stakeholder Management
- Assess operational, regulatory, customer, reputational and colleague impacts during incidents.
- Provide clear, concise executive updates, recommendations and briefing materials throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders during high-impact events.
- Build strong partnerships across risk, legal, communications, corporate security, HR, facilities, technology and business teams.
- Influence and align stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.

Continuous Improvement
- Lead post-incident reviews and drive remediation activities.
- Identify emerging risks, trends and opportunities to strengthen controls and resilience.
- Support testing, exercises and preparedness programmes that improve organisational readiness.

Required Qualifications
- Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- Experience in Incident Management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- Significant experience in incident management, crisis management, operational resilience, or business continuity within a large, complex organization.
- Proven experience leading enterprise or regional incident response activities across multiple business functions, countries or jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated success managing high-severity incidents with executive visibility and significant business impact.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to coordinate complex responses without direct authority.
- Experience developing executive-ready reports, briefings and communications during critical events.
- Ability to operate within a 24/7 incident response environment, work across multiple time zones and travel when required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience supporting regional or global operations across multiple countries and business lines.
- Strong knowledge of incident management, operational resilience and relevant regulatory expectations.
- Experience supporting operational resilience and regulatory requirements across EMEA jurisdictions.
