Incident Response Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with world-leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI-powered security tools. As an Incident Response Analyst, your hands-on experience in security operations will directly shape how AI systems detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations.

This is a unique opportunity to take your SOC and IR expertise beyond the day-to-day and leave a lasting mark on the AI systems that will define the future of cybersecurity.

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases to evaluate AI-generated response outputs
  • Assess root cause, impact, and appropriate remediation steps for simulated and real-world scenarios
  • Review and validate detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks used by AI systems
  • Verify that AI-generated incident analysis accurately reflects how real security operations teams think and work
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI decision-making in high-stakes environments

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
  • Hands-on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
  • Skilled at triaging signals and distinguishing meaningful threats from background noise
  • Able to clearly articulate your reasoning and document findings in a structured format
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously

Nice to Have

  • Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or PICERL
