Job Opportunity: Incident Response Supervisor – M40 Motorway

This role involves:

  • Managing a dedicated incident response unit across 110+ staff spanning 3 depots
  • Overseeing incident management, road availability bookings, and Network Control Centre operations

MISSION & MAIN ACTIVITIES

Reporting to the ERO M40 Day Works Manager, the Incident Response Supervisor will:

  • Deliver Incident Support Units (ISUs) across the motorway, executing annual and routine works programs.
  • Ensure efficient and rapid incident response, with safety, quality, compliance, and minimal traffic disruption as top priorities.
  • Lead the ISU day works team, monitoring performance, multitasking, and ensuring adherence to Egis safety, sustainability, and operational policies.
  • Work closely with the Day Works Manager to meet contract safety, profitability, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure all activities are completed safely, adhering to Egis UK’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
    • Deliver shift briefings and ensure ISU team members are properly trained and equipped for all work tasks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
