Matthew Moss High School is seeking to appoint an Inclusive Practice Coordinator to join our outstanding Inclusion team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our inclusive ethos and ensuring that every learner receives the provision they need to thrive.
Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion and SENCo, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across all areas of Inclusion. You will lead the coordination and monitoring of learners accessing Alternative Provision, acting as the lead professional for these placements while ensuring robust safeguarding, compliance, and effective tracking of learner progress.
The role involves working collaboratively with learners, families, colleagues, external agencies, Alternative Provision providers and therapeutic services to coordinate reviews, monitor attendance and progress, and ensure placements remain safe, appropriate and effective. You will also undertake regular safeguarding and quality assurance visits to external providers, complete risk assessments and due diligence checks, and maintain accurate, confidential records in line with statutory requirements.
In addition, you will support wider SEND administration, including preparing documentation for Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycles, annual reviews, exam access arrangements and maintaining compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.

As the role includes regular visits to Alternative Provision settings and other external placements, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle (held for at least three years) is essential.
Hours of employment are 8am to 3.45pm (including 30 minutes for lunch) term time only.
