The Role
A client in the consulting industry is seeking an Income Statement Modeler to join the team for an initial 4 week contract to support a Chief of Staff to the Global Managing Partner.
You will take ownership of building a full, clean income statement model, consolidating and enhancing an existing 5-year base case and layering in multiple strategic initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and strategy teams to ensure the model supports scenario testing, investment assumptions, and decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Build and refine a full income statement model, leveraging existing finance work and external consultancy inputs
- Integrate disparate strategic initiative models into a single, cohesive and scalable framework
- Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis capabilities, including toggle controls for key assumptions and initiative impacts
- Produce a clean, well-documented Excel model that supports IFRS-aligned outputs and management reporting
Requirements
- Strong experience in complex financial modelling, particularly income statement modelling in a consulting or investments environment
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build clear, flexible, and user-friendly models
- Experience working with ambiguous or incomplete datasets and assumptions, with the ability to apply sound commercial judgement
- Background in scenario analysis, investment modelling, and strategic finance projects

- Location: Hybrid ~ London (can be flexible)
