The Role: Incydr Sales Specialist
This is your opportunity: Join a fast-growing team at Mimecast and make a significant impact on our strategic growth area—the Incydr product.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Sales: Focus on booking new and expansion revenue for Incydr, collaborating with Mimecast’s core sales teams.
- Build Relationships: Leverage key connections to position Incydr with stakeholders—CISOs, IT leaders, and risk/compliance professionals.
- Partner Strategically: Work with business development and financial services institutions (FSIs), aligning with their sales cycles.
- CRM & Campaigns: Maintain Salesforce cleanliness and design high-impact client campaigns.
- Demos & Collaboration: Deliver Incydr demonstrations, showcasing its value, while partnering with Account Executives (AEs), Sales Engineers, Field Marketing, and Channel Account Managers.
- Compliance-Centric: Adhere to Mimecast’s privacy and security policies while safeguarding sensitive data.

- Detect and investigate data loss incidents swiftly.
- Protect corporate data while reducing risk to employees productively collaborating in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution & Relationship Growth
✔ Develop and manage key accounts using Mimecast’s resources. ✔ Present Incydr’s value to purchasers (e.g., CISOs, IT leaders, risk/compliance officers).
2. Partnerships & Collaboration
✔ Forge strategic ties with FSI business development teams to align on tailored solutions. ✔ Work across departments including AEs, Sales Engineers, Field Marketing, and BDRs to exceed targets.
3. Product Expertise & Deliverables
✔ Conduct Engaging Incydr demos, emphasising insider risk detection and mitigation. ✔ Ensure proactive CRM hygiene in Salesforce, refining sales processes. ✔ Align sales activities with Mimecast’s strict privacy/security standards.
Ideal Candidate – Your Toolkit for Success
✅ SaaS Sales Expertise (Enterprise Focus): Proven experience selling SaaS solutions to mid-market/enterprise clients. ✅ Cybersecurity Prowess: Current understanding of cybersecurity threats, with a history in selling security solutions. ✅ Sales Track Record of Excellence: Consistently exceeded revenue/booking targets; skilled at navigating senior stakeholders (CIOs, CISOs, and CEOs). ✅ Communication & Negotiation: Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, backed by crisp audience presentation. ✅ Fast-Paced Adaptability: Thrives in high-growth, collaborative environments, solving problems nimbly. ✅ Salesforce Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of CRM management, leaderboards, and automation tools.

Compensation & Benefits
What You Earn
- OTE: £128,000–£192,000 (base + incentive).
- Incentives and additional benefits (e.g., Commission structures, growth perks, flexible rewards) per company policy.
