Independent Commercial Consultant – Oil & Gas & Energy Services

Remote / Hybrid - UK applicants only.

UK Petroleum Co. Ltd is looking to appoint an Independent Commercial Consultant to support our commercial development activities across oil, gas, aviation fuel, energy services, and market development projects.

This is a suitable opportunity for someone with an interest in energy, international business development, commercial introductions, buyer/seller mapping, and structured lead generation. The consultant will work independently, while also participating in our wider commercial development team process. Training and onboarding will be provided.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Identifying potential buyers, sellers, traders, refineries, distributors, and relevant commercial contacts
  • Supporting market mapping for Jet A-1 aviation fuel and other energy-related opportunities
  • Building structured lead lists with verified company information
  • Using approved outreach messages and company procedures
  • Recording activity in CRM or reporting templates
  • Supporting counterparty classification and early-stage verification
  • Participating in commercial review meetings and training sessions
  • Helping develop opportunities for UK Petroleum Co. Ltd and related platforms, including MENA Oil & Gas

  • Strong communication and research skills
  • Interest in oil, gas, aviation fuel, trading, or international energy markets
  • Ability to work independently and report clearly

  • Comfortable following compliance, documentation, and approval processes
  • Existing energy-sector contacts would be useful but are not essential
  • Willingness to learn Jet A-1 brokerage, buyer/seller verification, and commercial documentation workflow

This is an independent consultancy role, not an employee position. The consultant will receive onboarding, training, approved templates, and structured guidance. Compensation will be based on agreed commission from successful projects where UK Petroleum Co. Ltd receives revenue. This role may suit someone interested in building experience in energy commercial development while working with a structured UK-based company.
