The Vacancy
Help shape the future of a growing commercial housing business.
Pelham Homes Ltd is a wholly owned commercial subsidiary of Nottingham Community Housing Association. We are seeking an Independent Director to join its Board. Pelham Homes develops homes for open market sale, delivers development and architectural services and invests in joint ventures that generate returns to support NCHA's social purpose. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in property sales, private residential development and housebuilding within a commercial business.
As an Independent Director, you will help shape strategy, oversee development and investment activities, provide constructive challenge and ensure strong governance and effective decision-making.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Brings strong commercial insight and strategic thinking
- Demonstrates sound independent judgement
- Communicates clearly and objectively
- Understands effective board governance and collaborative decision-making.
Commitment: Six in-person Board meetings per year, plus training, appraisal activities and occasional additional activities.
