Index Research Analyst
About the Role
Join a collaborative team focused on index rebalancing in an Index Research Analyst role.
Preferred Location
Open to candidates in Europe, with London strongly preferred.
Principal Responsibilities
- Working alongside the trading and research team, with a focus on US, EMEA, and Asia indices
- Performing primary research with company reports and shareholding structures to build accurate predictions of index events
- Identifying signals and generating ideas to contribute to the overall team strategy
- Interpreting index methodologies

Preferred Technical Skills
- Strong research and programming skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience in Excel, Python, and SQL

Preferred Experience
- 2-5 years of experience as a Researcher or Quantitative Researcher in an index rebalancing environment
- Demonstrated track record of working with filings and key information documents on global companies
- Demonstrated understanding of equity index methodologies
