About the Role:
Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make an impact across a broad range of indirect spend categories? We're looking for an Indirect Procurement Buyer to support the sourcing, negotiation and management of key indirect procurement categories across the UK & Ireland.
Working closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, IT, Supply Chain and other business functions, you'll help deliver value through effective sourcing strategies, supplier management and commercial negotiations. You'll play a key role in ensuring Ferrero receives the best quality, service and value whilst maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll support the implementation of Global Procurement strategies at a local level and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that help drive business performance and supplier excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your procurement career within a fast-paced FMCG environment, working across a diverse portfolio of spend categories whilst supporting some of the UK's most recognised brands.
Main Responsibilities:
- You'll manage a portfolio of indirect procurement categories, working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop sourcing solutions that balance cost, quality, service and innovation.
- You'll support end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, tender management, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations and contract implementation. Whether sourcing professional services, HR services, IT, facilities management, logistics, office supplies, marketing services or other indirect spend categories, you'll ensure procurement projects are delivered efficiently and in line with Group Procurement standards.
- Building strong supplier relationships will be an important part of the role. You'll monitor supplier performance through regular reviews, support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to optimise costs whilst maintaining quality and service standards.
- You'll collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts, purchase orders and supplier documentation are managed accurately and comply with company policies. You'll also support supplier onboarding, resolve procurement queries and maintain accurate procurement data within SAP.
- In addition, you'll analyse spend data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and increased value for the business, presenting recommendations to stakeholders where appropriate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
