Indirect Procurement Specialist
Indirect Procurement Specialist (Manufacturing Environment)
We are a global acting company in a manufacturing environment based in the Midlands (UK), seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist.
This role offers an opportunity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, providing the chance to make a tangible impact on procurement performance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spend (MRO, services, consumables) aligned with business objectives
- Lead RFQs, supplier selection processes, and contract negotiations
- Drive cost optimization and deliver measurable savings
- Benchmark supplier performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Monitor supplier KPIs, manage non-conformities, and ensure compliance with procurement processes
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple sites

Key Requirements
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience with contracts, RFQs, and cost optimization initiatives
- Proactive, structured, and results-driven mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
